The Super XL Series at 888poker came to a thrilling conclusion this weekend with several massive events, one being the $1,050 buy-in $1 million guaranteed Main Event. Not only was the lofty guarantee met, it was beaten by more than 11% as 1,180 players bought in to create a $1,180,000 prize pool.

While one of our players did not take down this huge tournament, they did finish as its runner-up and did so after a heads-up deal, which netted them a giant score of $168,532.90. Congratulations to “carmen.1957” on your superb result.

Two talented Brits reached the final table of 888poker’s $150,000 Mega Deep this Sunday and banked more than $22,000 between them. Gavin “gavbthreeone” Ball finished in fifth place for $9,172.80 while Conor “grandma1954” Beresford went one place deeper and collected $13,195.00.

Keeping with 888poker for now and onto the $160 buy-in $150,000 guaranteed Super XL Mini Main Event where Phil “PRoyal888” Mighall helped himself to the $6,895.57 seventh place prize, and a shoutout to “ClicnCollect” who fell in eighth place in the $115,000 Sunday Challenge, a finish worth $2,375.25.

Over at Full Tilt, there was a trio of decent scores enjoyed by players calling the United Kingdom home. Ben “SPRAGGS” Spraggons finished fifth in the Sunday Major for $3,600.00, with “TLLOT” busting from the Sunday Brawl in fourth place for $2,736.94. Matthew “thegingerone45” Hunt took down the Sunday Brawl and netted $7,778.83 including nine $50 bounties.

It wasn’t only the 888poker Super XL Series concluding on Sunday, the 2016 Turbo Championship Of Online Poker (TCOOP) drew to a close at PokerStars and there was plenty to shout about.

London’s “Large Coffee” possibly had a large whiskey to celebrate winning the TCCOP-45: $109 NL Hold’em 8-Max 1R1A for $45,000.00 while Ireland’s “Noogaii” won the Sunday Kickoff and walked away with $23,359.18 after a four-handed deal.

The big scores kept on coming with one going to Paul “Senterpied” Senter, who finished in ninth place in the TCOOP-46: $215 NL Hold’em Ultra-Deep for $5,382.40, and Peter “Se7enTr3Y” Akery walked away with $12,596.00 for his seventh place finish in the Sunday Warm-Up.

Ben “jenbizzle” Jones secured a $6,399.00 score by finishing eighth in the Sunday Rebuy, where “10111420” finished in second place for a cool $38,394.00.

Don’t switch off yet because the big PokerStars scores keep on coming, just asked “saladinhoo” and “summuNNN” who finished in second and third place in the Sunday 500 for scores of $46,410.00 and $34,807.50, and congratulations to “turistlituan” who chopped the Sunday 6-Max for $18,100.00.

Two players already mentioned helped themselves to decent scores at partypoker on Sunday. “Large Coffee” bust the $150,000 Guaranteed High Roller in 10th place for $23,775.00 while “carmen.1957” finished third for $13,950 to complete a fantastic night at the virtual felt.

Kevin “THEDREAMER77” Killeen finished fourth in the $50,000 Gtd Weigh-In for $3,862.40
