There was a familiar name at the top of the results page of 888poker’s $100,000 Sunday Challenge this week, that of the one and only Chris Moorman.

Moorman plays at 888poker under the alias “WhatWudJsay” and it is this moniker that is sat at the top of the results page, having outlasted 825 opponents in the $90+1R buy-in event. Moorman’s latest victory added $19,720.31 to his lifetime online tournament winnings, which currently stand at more than $12.7 million.

888poker has proven to be a happy hunting ground for players from the UK and Ireland this year, and it continued to be the case this week especially in the $150,000 guaranteed Whale.

sheeeeeeeet” went the deepest of our players, finishing fourth from 316 entrants to scoop $14,729.55, with fellow Brit “derharry69” falling one place earlier in fifth for $10,176.78. Former world number one Patrick "d1sclosure" Leonard saw his Whale end in seventh place for $6,070.36, while “ckb4714” bust in ninth place for a $3,124.45 addition to his bankroll.

Two players sporting Union Jacks next to their names at the final table of the $120,000 Mega Deep were Marc “icallyamet” Wright and “Quelles_Sont,” who finished sixth and ninth for scores of $6,367.20 and $1,970.80.

Over to PokerStars now where there a few final table appearances by players who call the United Kingdom home.

The player known as “10111420” helped themselves to the $16,515.00 third place prize money in the Sunday Kickoff, while “timba27” managed to navigate his way to a seventh-place finish in the Sunday Warm-Up, a result worth $12,338.20.

An even larger score was enjoyed by “greenblatt1” in the Bigger $109; he collected $20,407.53 for his third place finish.

The big scores kept on coming thanks to Martin “susie00” Malone finishing seventh in the Sunday Million for $25,322.00, Peter “Se7evTr3y” Akery busting the Sunday 2nd Chance in seventh place for $6,025.28, “LearnToFlyy” grabbing the $10,839.37 third place prize in the Sunday 6-Max, “Sputnick_PT” finishing fourth in the Sunday Supersonic for $18,069.88, and “St.Tony18” being the runner-up in the Sunday 500 for a cool $41,715.00.

Lastly for this week’s Sunday Briefing are the eighth place finish in the Full Tilt Sunday Major for “DelBoy818” worth $1,691.81, and the fourth place finish in the T-Rex for Sam “sammy_grinder” Grafton that was worth $839.03 when bounties were considered.
