Kevin Killeen Enjoys a Five-Figure Score

Sergio “EV4dGloryOMC” Garcia is still way out in front in the Irish rankings, but Kevin “SuitedAcesBaby” Killeen is trying his hardest to narrow the gap.

Killeen finished third in the PokerStars Sunday Rebuy for $22,967 this week and followed that up with a third-place finish in the weekday edition of the same tournament for $3,405. That last result netted Killeen 77.94 leader board points. However, the result came too late to be included in this week’s update so they’ll be added next week.

Jude “j.thaddeus” Ainsworth also grabbed a chunky score by winning the Sunday Warm-Up for the equivalent of $7,723. While that result hasn’t pushed him up the Irish rankings, he is now only 70.10 points away from Tomas “luckymo32” Geleziunas in fifth place.

Finally for the Irish round-up, a doff of the cap to Dara “Doke” O’Kearney. The popular grinder finished third in the PokerStars $27 NL Hold’em 6-Max Hyper Turbo for $2,665 then followed that up with a sixth place in the iPoker iPOPS-2H €200,000 Gtd for $7,104.
