Don't Miss the WPT UK £2,200 Main Event on Nov. 3 0001

  • Don't miss the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour UK £2,200 Main Event kicking off on November 3.

The 2015 partypoker WPT UK £2,200 Main Event boasts a £1 million guarantee and will commence play with Day 1a on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at noon local time at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, UK. The event will feature two starting flights with four levels of late registration and re-entry allowed on Day 1b for those that bust on Day 1a.

The re-entry format also allows players to play both starting flight of the £2,200 Main Event and take their best stack forward. That means if you play Day 1a and bag up a less-than-ideal stack, you can fire again into Day 1b with the hopes of bagging more. Plus you'll be able to play a bit more aggressively on Day 1b to get ahold of some chips knowing you always have the Day 1a stack to fall back on.

Last season's WPT UK event attracted 354 entries and saw Lithuania's Matas Cimbolas walk away with a £200,000 top prize. He defeated an official WPT final table that included Ben Warrington (2nd), Tamer Kamel (3rd), Antoine Saout (4th), and Patrick Leonard (6th). Also going deep in the event were Luca Moschitta (7th), Sylvain Loosli (10th), and Adrian Mateos (11th).

PokerNews will be on hand to provide live coverage of this event, plus produce updates from the £5,250 High Roller that takes place Nov. 2-3. Another highlight of the series will be the £10,250 Super High Roller taking place Nov. 6-7.
