UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: 10111420 Debuts in Seventh Place

UK and Ireland online poker rankings
  • Sergio "EV4dGloryOMC" Garcia leads in Ireland by some 1,400 points.

  • Sam Grafton continues on an upwards trajectory and is now 12th in the UK

The UK & Ireland online poker rankings has a new player featured, the PokerStars player known by the moniker “10111420.”

After creating his account on July 8 meaning this is the first week his tournament results have netted him leaderboard points. Those points comes to a grand total of 5,358.04 and are enough to see him enter the UK rankings in seventh place and 59th in the worldwide standings.

10111420 has not entered his full name into his profile so we only know that he is called Alessio and that he seems to do very well for himself in mid-stakes online poker tournaments, taking the occasional shots at the $109 and $215 buy-in games.

Recently, 10111420 won the Hot $16.50 for $7,519 and had a brace of runner-up finishes in the $22 NL Hold’em 1R1A ($2,741) and in the $51 NL Hold’em Hyper-Turbo ($4,806), results that have helped push his lifetime winnings at PokerStars to almost $790,000.

This week was relatively quiet, mostly because the majority of the top 20 players were either still in Las Vegas or having a well-deserved rest after their World Series of Poker (WSOP) exploits.

A trio of players who swerved the WSOP in favour of grinding online managed to add more points to their tally’s this week.

Andy “wiisssppppaa” Taylor won the $82 NL Hold’em 6-Max Hyper Turbo at PokerStars for $3,643 on Monday, only a couple of days after finishing as runner-up in the same tournament for $1,787.

Sam “SammySquid” Grafton is now up to 12th in the UK thanks in part to a number of deep runs this past week including a runner-up finish in the PokerStars $215 PL Omaha Hi/Low for $2,100 and a third place finish in the Hot €100 for $944.

Lastly, for the UK at least, Ben “jenbizzle” Jones continued his recent good form with a fourth place in the Full Tilt Sunday Major for $12,600 and a win in the $320 NL Hold’em 6-Max for $4,860 although that last result won’t be added to his points total until the next update on Wednesday.
