Mansion Group Becomes Crystal Palace’s Main Sponsor
Less than two weeks after announcing it was the new shirt sponsors of newly promoted Premier League team AFC Bournemouth, Mansion Group has announced it is the main sponsor of another Premier League team, Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace has a strong 2014-15 season in the English Premier League where they eventually finished in the top half of the table, claiming the 10th place spot after seeing the club fortunes revived in the second half of the season following the arrival of Alan Pardew as manager.
The London club, known as The Eagles, will now sport the Mansion logo on its first team shirts and will work with the gambling company across a spectrum of commercial activities.
Steve Parish, the Chairman of Crystal Palace, said of the deal: “At Crystal Palace FC we are pleased to be working alongside such an entertainment heavyweight as Mansion. I very much look forward to partnering with them to grow both our distinct brands.
“We have an exciting season ahead of us, as we seek to truly establish ourselves in the Barclays Premier League, and I'm excited that Mansion will be joining us as we continue to create a new reality and future for our Club”
Equally as excited at the prospect of seeing its product displayed to millions of fans around the world, Mansion Group CEO, Sagi Lahav, said: “As a global business with the utmost respect for the English Premier League, we are thrilled with this exciting partnership.
“At Mansion we are proud to be working with a team whose hard work and determination has seen them secure their place in the Premier League for a third consecutive season.
“We look forward to working together with Crystal Palace on a number of initiatives that will enhance the visibility of both of our brands, whilst providing a platform for CPFC fans, and our Mansion casino members, to benefit from the partnership”
Mansion Group launched in 2004 and quickly became one of the market leaders in online gaming. A former sponsor of Tottenham Hotspur, Mansion offers poker and casino products, although it pulled out of the UK online poker market shortly after the announcement of the Point of Consumption Tax. It does, however, hold a UK Gambling Commission issued licence for its casino products.
