UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: Serradell Reclaims Number One Spot

UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: Serradell Reclaims Number One Spot 0001

Both the United Kingdom and Ireland online poker rankings have a Spanish grinder at the top of their respective leader boards after Oscar “MendaLerenda” Serradell leapfrogged Patrick “pleno1” Leonard in the UK standings and Sergio “EV4dGloryOMC” Garcia held on to the top spot in Ireland.

It was a relatively quiet week for the UK with very few massive scores being had by the top 20, although there was still some impressive results dotted around.

The aforementioned Leonard helped himself to fifth place money ($5,876) in the Full Tilt Super Sized Sunday and third place in the PokerStars $19 NL Hold’em 1R1A ($5,492) but still dropped one place to second.

Marcin “Marcin123” Milde continues to put in huge volume and that volume is reaping the rewards. Some of the highlights from Milde’s past week include a third place finish in the $27 NL Hold’em Turbo Progressive Super-Knockout ($1,905) and runner-up finishes in the $3.30 NL Hold’em Rebuy ($1,612), $13.50 NL Hold’em Knockout ($1,496) and in the $51 NL Hold’em Hyper Turbo ($907) all at PokerStars.

May has started well for Billy “BillyChat” Chattaway who has finished eighth in the PokerStars $109 Sunday Rebuy ($5,450), and won the $55 NL Hold’em 6-max Turbo ($3,476), while Stephen “woody1234321” Woodhead has had a string of four-figure cashes including a win in the $82 NL Hold’em 6-Max Hyper ($3,803) and The Hot $44 ($3,260) at PokerStars.

A round of applause to Jonathan “Gil3000” Gill who has now entered the Top 200 for the first time in his career. Gill’s lofty position was helped by a fifth place in the partypoker $25,000 GTd ($1,700), a 14th place finish in the Betfair Poker iPOPS-1H €200,000 Gtd ($1,656) and a seventh place finish in the 888poker $100,000 Mega Deep ($4,488).

Andrew “UlDuffer” On The Rise

As mentioned earlier, Sergio Garcia is the man to catch in Ireland and he is now almost 500 points ahead of Jude “j.thaddeus” Ainsworth in second place. Two results at 888poker helped Garcia open that gap; a runner-up finish in the $15,000 Monsoon ($2,735) and a win in the $25,000 Saturday Challenge ($6,228).

Up two places this week and into seventh in Ireland is Andrew “UlDuffer” Sweeney. A sixth place in the PokerStars Bigger $162 ($9,138) and an eighth place in the partypoker $100,000 High Roller ($6,100) gave Sweeney a boost up the rankings.

Shout outs go to Frank “Denman98” Lillis who finished third in the Sunday Special for $10,652 and to Marc “Sluglife” Macdonnell who took down the Big €100 for $5,232 also at PokerStars’ French facing site.
