Dublin seems to be a real hot bed of poker action right now with the new-look Full Tilt International Poker Open (IPO) and European Poker Tour (EPT) both announcing their tours will be heading to the capital of the Emerald Isle soon. Now another live poker event, the MPN Poker Tour, has announce it too will set sail for Dublin in September.

The MPN Poker Tour (MPNPT) is a relatively new addition to the live poker circuit, yet it has already gained a reputation for putting on superb events that are packed to the brim with value. Three MPN Poker Tour events have taken place to date, those being held in London, Malta and Tallin, and each have been well received by the poker community.

The Dublin leg of the MPNPT takes place between September 2-6 at Bewley’s Airport Hotel in the Irish capital and boasts of a €250,000 guarantee Main Event that costs only €500 to enter. Various sites on the MPN online poker network are running satellites to the MPNPT Dublin festival, with €1,500 packages being awarded to the final’s winners.

Each of the packages consists of:

  • Entry into the €500 Main Event (€250,000 guaranteed)
  • Entry into the €120 side event (€10,000 guaranteed)
  • Accommodation for four nights at Bewley’s Airport Hotel (including breakfast)
  • Welcome drinks reception
  • €420 towards travel and expenses

Before the Dublin leg, in fact in a less than a fortnight’s time, the MPNPT jets off to Tbilisi in Georgia where at least $400,000 will be won, including a huge $250,000 guaranteed Main Event. Satellites to the Georgia leg are still available at participating MPN sites, but will be disappearing shortly so act now if you’re contemplating trying to qualify cheaply.
