DTD Gears Up For the £1 Million UKIPT Nottingham Main Event

UKIPT Nottimgham

Season 5 of the PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) continues next week when it heads to Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) for the latest instalment of the UKIPT Nottingham festival.

Nottingham has been on the UKIPT calendar since the tour’s creation back in 2009. The inaugural UKIPT Nottingham Main Event was a £500+£60 buy-in affair that attracted 650 players. Andrew Couldridge walked away with the lion’s share of the spoils that year, defeating Germany’s Oliver Schaffmann heads-up to get his hands on £80,000.

Gareth Walker won the Season 2 edition and it’s £97,700 first place prize, followed by Robert Baguley in Season 3 who scooped £210,400 for outlasting 1,624 opponents – the largest-ever score at UKIPT Nottingham.

Last season saw Duncan McLellan win his second UKIPT Main Event, adding the Nottingham title to the Isle of Man trophy he won seventh months earlier.
