Christopher Brammer Returns to UK Online Poker Rankings Top 10

Christopher Brammer

Christopher “NigDawG” Brammer looks to be ending 2014 with a bang after returning to form during the past couple of weeks, form that has seen him return to the top 10 of the UK online poker rankings.

Brammer, a former world number one, climbs to ninth place in the UK this week on the back of some impressive results in some of online poker's toughest tournaments including victories in the $109 NL Hold'em Rebuy ($4,260) and the $44 NL Hold'em Turbo ($2,283) and a 15th place finish in the Sunday Million ($5,637) all at PokerStars.

The Winchester grinder also banked $22,817 by finishing fifth in the Full Tilt FTOPS Event #16.

Brammer's good friend Toby “810ofclubs” Lewis had dropped out of the top 20 recently, but is back up to 18th place thanks in part to a sixth place finish in the partypoker $200K Guaranteed, a result that added $8,440 to Lewis' coffers.

Team PokerStars Online's Vicente Delgado is still the man to catch in the UK rankings, closely followed by Patrick Leonard who is only 17 points behind, with Rick “TheClaimer” Trigg, Oscar “MendaLerenda” Serradell and the man who wins Triple Crowns for fun Chris Moorman rounding out the top five place.

Of those talented grinders, keep an eye out for Trigg not least because he is playing a ridiculous schedule at PokerStars right now in an attempt to finish as high as he can in the Yearly Tournament Leader Board. At time of writing, Trigg is fifth in the standings, but only 800 points away from second place so expect him to continue putting in huge volume until midnight on December 31.

Like Lewis, Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford returns to the UK top 20 this week after a brace of victories at PokerStars. Beresford won the $265 NL Hold'em Knockout for $5,875 on December 8 before taking down the $215 NL Hold'em Turbo the following night for an additional $10,757.
