Microgaming Begins Public Beta of Fun View 0001

Players on some MPN sites – formerly known as the Microgaming Network – can enjoy a brand new software feature called Fun View.

Fun View is the first online poker table view designed specifically for widescreen devices. Players using the Fun View are able to choose from more than 100 avatars including characters from some of Microgaming' casino games, clearer fonts, chips and cards, and high resolution 3D-rendered graphics.

“We've spent a great deal of time in the past few months laying the groundwork for an exciting year ahead. In 2015, we'll be revitalising the look and feel of our software across all of our platforms to ensure that players have the best experience possible when the play on the MPN,” said Head of Poker at Microgaming, Alex Scott.

Fun View is currently in public beta and only available at Betsson Group operated skins on the MPN including Bets10, Betsafe, Betsson, Dhoze, NordicBet and TrioBet and players on these sites are encouraged to provide feedback to their poker room so changes can be implemented before Fun View is rolled out across the entire MPN.

Head of Poker at Betsson, Christopher Hirst, said of Fun View, “Fun View is a great example of how we work collaboratively with the team at Microgaming to create and develop new software features and enhance the user experience. We believe Fun View is a great addition to the MPN and we look forward to receiving player feedback over the coming months.

Microgaming are committed to making online poker fun for its customers and, like many other online poker sites, are shifting their focus towards recreational players. In November 2013, Microgaming rolled out an achievements rewards system across the MPN and have indicated they are looking at banning some third-party software such as seating scripts
