Robbie “Adreny” Bull Takes Down Sunday's Bigger $109

Robbie Bull

Last Sunday was a relatively quiet one for British and Irish grinders, but they more than made up for it on June 22 with some impressive results at the virtual felt.

One of the biggest results from Sunday was that of the UKIPT London champion Robbie “Adreny” Bull taking down the PokerStars Bigger $109 for a bankroll-boosting $38,601.65. Bull chopped the remaining prize pool with Prtugal’s “tua133” and then went on to win the whole shebang.

Bull was joined at the final table by the United Kingdom’s “mopro89” who eventually busted in sixth place for a $8,932.05 score.

This week’s Sunday Supersonic was also won by a Brit, by the unknown “03042921” to be exact. The man, or woman, whose name is made up of number, scooped an impressive $44,011.57 for their victory.

We also doff our hats to “pooyan” and “Tamthemanwho” who finished fifth and seventh for scores of $12,660.64 and $7,837.54 respectively.

Across the Irish Sea, Kevin “torino2000” Killeen finished as runner-up in the $109 Sunday Rebuy for $30,510.00, while Killeen’s fellow Irishman Paul “uWannaLoan?” Delaney finished eighth in the tough Sunday 500 for $7,087.50.

Rounding out the impressive PokerStars results from this Sunday are “donmilly,” who came fifth in the Sunday Kickoff for $6,918.80, and Paul “xxCelticFCxx” Febers who final table bubbled the Sunday 6-Max for $2,514.00.

Over at 888poker, Mat “checktrap11” Cuthbertson helped himself to $8,019 when he fell at the final hurdle in the $50,000 TURBO Mega Deep event.

The best result from the iPoker Sunday Special was a sixth place finish for “squire1888” that was worth €4,375.
