UK Online Poker Rankings: Patrick Leonard Cracks Top 20

UK Online Poker Rankings: Patrick Leonard Cracks Top 20 0001

Look in a poker dictionary for the term “heater” and it is possible you will find a picture of Patrick Leonard staring back at you. The 26-year old is in the form of his life, is winning tournaments for fun and the heater shows no sign of slowing down.

Since February 2014, Leonard can do no wrong. The cash game specialist has been tearing up the online tournament scene like nothing I have ever seen. Here’s a selection of Leonard’s recent results – make sure you’re sitting down before you start reading them!

  • 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $84,802
  • 1st in the PokerStars $33 NL Hold’em 1R1A for $5,653
  • 2nd in the PokerStars.fr Snday Six-Max for $9,419
  • 9th in the 9th Anniversary Sunday Million for $110,875
  • 1st in the PokerStars $109 Rebuy for $13,051
  • 2nd in the PokerStars $109 NL Hold;em 1R1A for $4,335
  • 1st in the PokerStars $22 rebuy for $2,928
  • 1st in The Bigger $162 for $50,521
  • 3rd in the PokerStars.fr 6-Max Club for $2,743
  • 1st in the €250 buy-in Six-Max Club for $5,906

Quite a ridiculous list of results I am sure you will agree.

Also in hot form is Andrew “stato_1” Hulme who has climbed back into the top 20. Hulme booked a win in The Hot $44 Turbo at PokerStars for $11,431, a 26th place finish in the $2,100 WCOOP Challenge Main Event – the one that Tom Middleton won – for $12,667 and wins in both the PokerStars $51 NL Hold’em Hyper-Turbo ($4,190) and the Winamax High Roller ($9,618).
