10th Edition of the Sky Poker UKOPS Kicks off April 18

Sky Poker UK Online Poker Series X

Earlier this week Sky Poker set the UK poker community abuzz with the unveiling of the schedule for the inaugural Sky Poker UK 6-Max Poker Championships. The only downside to that £1 million guaranteed festival is we have to wait until August to play in it! However, those of you who love six-max tournament with juicy guarantees should head over to Sky Poker’s online site this Easter weekend as the 10th UK Online Poker Series (UKOPS) opens its doors.

Running from April 18 through to April 21, the UKOPS X features a total of 20 events with combined prize pools of £150,000! On each of the four days of the UKOPS X there are five tournaments scheduled to play, which are broken down into Micro, Main, Mini, Challenger and Side’s making sure that there is a tournament to suit players regardless of their skill and bankroll levels.

Kicking off the UKOPS X on April 18 is a £2.20 rebuy event that has a guaranteed prize pool of £1,000. This exciting turbo format commences at 7:00pm and sees players start with a generous helping of 2,000 chips.

Also taking place on April 18 is a £25,000 guaranteed £110 buy-in Bounty Hunter, a £4,000 guaranteed £5.50 Bounty Hunter, a £4,000 guaranteed £22 buy-in freezeout and a £6,000 guaranteed £55 buy-in Bounty Hunter.

Other highlights of the festival include a £20,000 guaranteed £110 buy-in Bounty hunter on Bank Holiday Monday, and the superbly structured £110 buy-in Main Event that sees £30,000 played for on Easter Sunday. Eggcellent. Sorry, I’ll get my coat.

If you are wanting to compete in some of the higher buy-in events but find the cost of entering stretches your bankroll a little too far then look out in the Sky Poker lobby for the plethora of satellites running into them, satellites that start as low as £2.80.
