Online poker tournament grinders look forward to Sunday thanks to this being the day that the biggest tournaments run. For the vast majority of these grinders, Sunday’s end in disappointment but not for Conor Beresford who completely crushed at PokerStars this Sunday with a trio of fantastic results.
Playing as “1_conor_b_1,” Beresford got Sunday off to a lightning start with a fifth place finish in the Sunday Kickoff at PokerStars for $7,644.00. Beresford was joined at that final table by Rick “ThEcLaiMEer” Trigg who eventually finished in third spot for $14,430.00.
Now freerolling Sunday, Beresford was full of confidence and it showed as he went on to take down The Hotter $55 turbo for a cool $25,429.99 – the third largest cash of his career. But Beresford was not finished yet because he bought into the Sunday Supersonic and less and two hours later had helped himself to fourth place money, or $23,794.05 to you and I!
One of Beresford’s Supersonic opponents, Ireland’s Fergal “MidniteKowby" Nealon, went three places better than Beresford and took down the whole shebang for a $56,249.99 score! Great work, gents!
