Everest Poker officials have pulled off a major coup by signing British superstar Sam Trickett as an Everest Poker brand ambassador with immediate effect. To celebrate, Trickett has agreed to donate 10% of any winnings he has at the 2014 World Series of Poker, excluding The Big One For One Drop, to Everest Poker players.
Trickett is one of the most respected and feared poker players of all time. Since turning to poker after suffering a knee injury that scuppered any hopes of a football career, former gas fitter Trickett has amassed more than $19.9 million in live tournament winnings and countless more millions playing in the biggest cash games in the world.
Speaking of his new deal, Trickett said: “I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker and I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognised in the world.”
As part of his role as Everest Poker ambassador, Trickett will attend Everest Poker Live events around the world, offering players the chance to rub shoulders with one of the games true greats and even receive personal coaching from him. The former Big One For One Drop runner-up is also going to provide regular updates and video blogs from Las Vegas and his many other stops around the world giving Everest Poker players a true insight into the life of a top poker professional.
As mentioned, to celebrate signing his new deal, Trickett is offering Everest Poker players the chance to share 10% of his winnings from the 2014 WSOP. Des Duffy, Head of Everest Poker in dot.com markets, explains more about this fantastic promotion:
“We want to encourage players to get behind Sam’s quest for a first bracelet this summer and we’re excited to reveal that Sam will be offering players the chance to share in 10% of his winnings in the 20 to 30 bracelet events he enters this year, excluding the One Drop. With Sam’s consistent record of cashing at high profile tournaments there could be a huge amount of value on the table. Plus we’ll capture the atmosphere of Las Vegas through a series of video blogs that Sam will be recording during the series. I think for players who can’t make it to Las Vegas themselves, having a share in Sam Trickett will be the next best thing.”
Trickett’s first duties as Everest Poker ambassador see him compete at the Gioco Gigitale World Poker Tour Venice Main Event on March 10, before returning home to play at the Everest Poker tables under the username “SamTrickett.”
You can play with Sam Trickett at Everest Poker and enjoy plenty of benefits of being a Team PokerNews player by downloading Everest Poker via PokerNews.
