Flight 2 of the 2014 partypoker World Poker Tour National UK London Main Event saw the attendance figure swell by an impressive 229 entries putting the tournament on course to smash the £100,000 guarantee.
By the time the tournament director called time on proceedings upon the conclusion of the eighth level, it was Pablo Legarre who emerged as chip leader, his 126,200 chips being enough to earn him that title.
Leggare may not be the tournament’s overall chip leader – that honour goes to Flight 1’s Reza Fazeli – but he has given himself the best chance of progressing through to the money places in this exciting accumulator tournament.
Joining Leggare at the top of the chip counts are Mathieu Bragard (113,700), Sandra Reid (107,800) and Robert Fowler (102,400) while high profile players such as Charles Chattha (73,000), partypoker Team Pro Kara Scott (61,800), Sunny Chattha (44,000), Danny Blair (37,400), Will Kassouf (36,100), and Kuljinder Sidhu (20,400) also progressed to Saturday’s Day 2.

Flight 2 attracted plenty of established players, many of whom will have to fire a bullet on Flight 3 if they are to leave London with the title of champion.
