In a couple of weeks’ time, the United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) heads away from mainline United Kingdom and Ireland and drops anchor in the Isle of Man – the home of PokerStars!

A whole host of Team PokerStars Pros including Daniel Negreanu and Jason Mercier are set to play in the £1,100 buy-in Main Event, meaning you will get to play poker against some of the world’s best poker players for a relatively small outlay.

Running from October 30 through November 4 at the Villa Marina in Douglas, the inaugural UKIPT Isle of Man festival features 12 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from £50 to £2,200. Kicking the six-day festival off is a £150+£15 No Limit Hold’em Six Handed tournament, followed by a £100+£10 rebuy super satellite to the UKIPT Isle of Man Main Event.

The eagerly anticipated Main Event sports two start days. Day 1A commences at noon on October 31 with Day 1B starting at the same time on November 1. PokerStars is expecting a good attendance for the Main Event and has placed a £500,000 guarantee on its prize pool — no wonder Negreanu and Co. are buying in!

Other highlights of the UKIPT Isle of Man festival include the £2,200 High Roller, a double chance Pot Limit Omaha event and the £330 Isle of Man Cup. Check out the full festival schedule in the table below:

During the festival and away from the hustle bustle of the tournament floor, PokerNews will be bringing you exclusive behind the scenes footage of PokerStars HQ. No media outlet has ever been behind the closed doors at PokerStars HQ, but PokerNews will be exploring the building and the island that PokerStars has called home since 2005.

UKIPT Isle of Man is sure to be a unique poker festival with compact fields, plenty of big name players competing and all within 90 minutes of London! We cannot wait for October 30 to come around.

As is usually the case, you can qualify for the UKIPT Isle of Man Main Event at PokerStars. There is a plethora of satellite options to get stuck into and with buy-ins ranging from freerolls, to FPPs to £100 buy-ins there should be a satellite for players of all bankroll levels.
