The Caribbean Poker Tour will take place five weeks from now on Nov. 8 with seven tournaments on the beautiful island of Punta Canta. The feature event is a $1,500 no-limit hold’em William Hill Poker Open event, but that's not all.
Just one week later, the tour will venture to neighboring St. Maarten for 12 more events, including a World Poker Tour Main Event with a buy-in of $3,500 at Casino Royale in Maho Bay. There will also be a $7,000 buy-in, seven-handed Lucky Number 7 High Roller tournament hosted by German pro Tobias Reinkemeier.
Players can qualify for these events online on the iPoker Network, the tour’s main sponsor. This network includes sites like William Hill, Betfair, Winner Poker, Titan Poker, Gala Poker, and Win2day.be.
There are three different packages available to qualify for. These packages are highlighted by the Ultimate Caribbean Package (a 17-day package worth €7,500). There is also the St. Maarten Experience (a 10-day package worth €5,000) and the Punta Cana Experience (a seven-day package for €4,000).
For more information on these packages and which sites allow you a chance to win them, head to the CPT website.
As of today, there are nearly 50 package winners for the CPT, and the packages have been won in a variety of ways. Package winners hail from all over, including countries such as Poland, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Romania, Sweden, Hungary, and the United Kingdom. This truly makes the CPT event a lively international affair. To check out the list of package winners, please click here. Hopefully, you'll be able to see your name added to this list soon!
As always, all information regarding the CPT can be found on the tour's website.
