One of the most popular and fun events on the live poker tournament calendar is the BoylePoker.com International Poker Open Dublin. The 2012 edition was a roaring success and PokerNews believes the 2013 IPO Dublin will be one of the biggest and best yet.
The BoylePoker.com IP Dublin 2013 Main Event is set to be one of the largest poker tournaments held in Ireland this year. The Main Event itself runs from October 17-21 and during that time, more than 1,000 players will pay €200+€30 for 30,000 tournament chips and the chance to become the latest IPO Dublin champion.

This year’s IPO Dublin Main Event is a re-entry tournament, which means players have an even greater chance of reaching the money places and it also means the prize pool should be larger than ever before. Players are not permitted to re-enter on the same day that they bust out, but they can re-enter for €200+€30 on any subsequent Day 1.
The organisers are hosting a number of live satellite events at the Regency Hotel on Wednesday 16 October, with many more satellites taking place online at BoylePoker.com.
Last year, Tom Brady outlasted a 1,148 field as he took down IPO Dublin 2012. Brady defeated Darren Millar heads-up to get his hands on the coveted IPO trophy and a substantial first place prize of €42,530. Millar’s second-place finish netted him €30,715, with the other final table members winning between €6,375 and €21,605 – not bad at all for a €230 investment.
Keep October 16-21 free in your schedules so you do not miss out on one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the European poker calendar.
