Do you wish you could play in the PokerStars UKIPT main events but find the £770 buy-in out of bankroll rules? Then feat not because PokerStars is launching the UKIPT Series and the first such event is taking place this Friday.
The UKIPT Series is a new tournament that will run alongside the standard UKIPT during Season 4. Each UKIPT Series event will feature the same 20,000 starting stack and an identical blind structure, although the clock will be set at 30-minutes per level instead of 60-minutes. This means players can experience what it is like to play in a UKIPT but for the cut-price of just £275.
The first of these UKIPT Series opens its door on Friday 12 April at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome, London. Both starting flights start at 14:00 with the final day getting underway at the slightly earlier time of midday.
Should you bust out of the Main Event there will be cash games on demand plus you will be in the middle of Leicester Square so we are 100% certain you will be able to find something to entertain you!
To spice matters up somewhat, PokerStars is making the UKIPT Series eligible for UKIPT side event leader board points. Also, anyone who wins a UKIPT Series event will automatically be invited to the season-ending UKIPT Champion of Champions event where a UKIPT Season 5 passport is up for grabs.
Although the £275 buy-in is very reasonable and within reach of many poker players, PokerStars is still running a myriad of satellite tournaments to this opening leg.
