GUKPT Didsbury Day 1B: Neils Ladefoged Leads Overall
Both starting days of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Didsbury main event are now in the bag after the second flight finished on Friday night. Neils Ladefoged turned his 20,000 starting stack into 119,750 chips and that total is enough to see him be awarded the title of overall chip leader.
Ladefoged does not have many cashes showing in his Hendon Mob page, but the ones that are displayed are quite impressive to say the least. He has live tournament winnings of £37,900 with his most recent cash being for £10,350 that was his reward for finishing seventh in the 2012 English Poker Open.
Other luminaries who will be joining Ladefoged include, Mike Hill (118,375), Sky Poker Pro Julian Thew (93,500), Steve Holden (84,825), Tom Hall (46,875), Stuart Rutter (37,925), and John Eames (12,800).

Day 1B attracted 94 entries, up on the 59 from Day 1A. This means the GUKPT Didsbury has 153 entries, of which 55 players progressed to today’s Day 2. Forty of these hopefuls will leave the newly refurbished G Casino Didsbury empty handed because only the top 15 finishers will walk away with prize money to show for their efforts.
