The BoylePoker.com International Poker Open (IPO) London Main Event has progressed to Day 2 after the third of its three starting flights finished in the early hours of Saturday morning. Although Daniel Tinsley ended as Day 1c’s chip leader on 96,600 chips, it is Day 1b’s Philip Gould and his humongous 163,700 chip stack that leads overall.
As expected, Day 1c was the largest of the three starting days with 151 players making their way to the Aspers Casino Stratford on Friday evening. Of those 151 runners, just 65 made it through to Day 2, which kicks off at 14:00 on Saturday.
When play resumes this afternoon it will do so with 135 players all vying for a slice of the £69,000 prize pool. This sum of money is to be shared out among the top 45 finishers, a min-cash is worth £385 while the eventual champion will walk away with a bankroll-boosting £14,595.
