This weekend saw another edition of Roberto Romanello’s Multi Prize Pool Poker (MPP) concept take place at the Nottingham-based Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) poker club. Once again, the DTD management put their money where their mouth is and guaranteed a prize pool of at least £30,000.
The lion’s share of this £30,000 is now nestled in the back pocket of Andy Young, who bought into the £200 Prize Pool 3 and went all the way and won the whole tournament! This meant Young walked away with £2,550 from Prize Pool 3; £2,446.00 from Prize Pool 2 and £3,554.00 from Prize Pool 1 for a cash haul of £8,550.
Another player to benefit from buying into the top prize pool was Ben Vinson who finished third overall for a score of £1,229 but he also picked up third place money from Prize Pool 2 (£860) and second place money from Prize Pool 3 (£1,628) making it a very profitable day for the pro player.
As has been the case since the very first MPP event, the big names turned out in force to support this brand new tournament format. The likes of World Series of Poker bracelet winner Matt Perrins, Chris Sly, James Mitchell, Mark Mccluskey, Ian Gascoigne, Basharat “Bash” Mahmood, “Wadey” Waheed Ashraf, and Colburn “Rastafish” Tomlin all buying into the top prize pool.
|Position||Player||Prize Pool 1 winnings||Prize Pool 2 winnings||Prize Pool 3 winnings||Total winnings|
|6||Mariela Elena Serrano Dalmas||£553.00||£391.00||£786.00||£1,730.00|
This weeks’ flagship event is the £30,000 guaranteed Incredible 100 that kicks off at 17:00 on Saturday 23 February. The popular £100+£15 buy-in event is completed in a single day which means someone is going to leave the DTD club with a spectacular hourly rate!
