The Bigger 100 Now Even Bigger; £20,000 Guaranteed

Danny Toffel

In September, the Royal Surrey Poker & Snooker Club launched a tournament called The Bigger 100, it was a roaring success, selling out and seeing the £12,000 guaranteed obliterated.

On that occasion, 250 players bought in for £110 (36 rebought) and received a monster stack of 40,000 tournament chips, but it was Danny Toffel (pictured) who put those chips to best use, besting a talented field to walk away with the title of The Bigger 100 champion.

Toffel struck a deal with Simon Taylor and Faham Khan, which saw each of them walk away with £5,733 for their efforts, but Toffel was the man who was crowned champion. To see the sort of prizes on offer in this tournament check out the results from the last time The Bigger 100 ran.

Following on from the success of the inaugural Bigger 100, The Royal Surrey Poker & Snooker Club is running The Bigger 100 Part II. The £110 buy-in remains the same but this time the guaranteed prize pool is a massive £20,000, which considering the size of the club is a huge guarantee to put up and they should be applauded for putting their necks on the line.

The Bigger 100 Part II features three starting flights, Day 1a kicking off at 19:30 on Nov. 29 with Day 1b starting at the same time on Nov.30 and Day 1c on Dec. 1. The tournament is being played as a re-entry event meaning if you bust out on Day 1a you can buy into Day 1b or Day 1c. With this in mind, the club expects Nov. 29 to be extremely busy so it could be worth contacting The Royal Surrey Poker & Snooker Club to reserve your seat.
