Tan Luan Le Wins Inaugural Super 50 Reload At Dusk Till Dawn

Dusk Till Dawn

The management team at the popular Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) poker club in Nottingham are always trying to come up with new and exciting events for their valued customers and Friday night marked the start of a brand new regular tournament called the Super 50 reload.

The Super 50 has been part of the DTD’s impressive tournament schedule for a while now, often played on Saturday or Sunday’s to a turbo format. Friday’s edition was the first time players could reload their stacks and the first time the Super 50 carried a £10,000 guarantee.

By the time registration came to an end there were 119 players registered, missing the guarantee by just £50. Of these 119 players, 15 made it into the money place with Jason Pritchett being the unfortunate bubble boy in this particular event.

Pritchett’s exit meant the surviving players had each locked up at least £200 for their efforts, and this amount rose steadily as the players lost their chips and fell by the wayside. By the time the nine-handed final table had been reached everyone was guaranteed to take home at least £270 for their efforts.

The first elimination from the final table was Martin Gareth Lear and he was followed to the rail by the likes of Mark Arkley, Joe Smith, Matthew Taylor, Andrew Tuxworth, Craig Storer and James Glossop. The 118th and final elimination of the tournament came at 04:03 on Saturday morning, Neil Swindale busting out in second place, leaving Tan Luan Le as the champion, one who picked up £2,950 for his efforts.

1Tan Luan Le£2,950.00
2Neil Swindale£1,720.00
3James Glossop£1,110.00
4Craig Storer£830.00
5Andrew Tuxworth£620.00
6Matthew Taylor£510.00
7Joe Smith£430.00
8Mark Arkley£350.00
9Martin Gareth Lear£270.00

The biggest tournament winner of the weekend was Ganesh Jayaraman who bested a 92-strong field in the £150+£18 freezeout to pick up the £4,575.000 first place prize. Jayaraman defeated Eirimas Livonas heads-up for the title and the bragging rights of being a DTD champion!

This weekend the DTD is again running the £10,000 guaranteed Super 50 Reload on Friday, whilst the highlight of the weekend’s action is the £150 Freezeout that carries a £15,000 guarantee. Now is the perfect time to try out the superb Nottingham-based club as most of the regulars are in the Caribbean for the DTD Caribbean Party that kicks off tomorrow.
