European Masters Of Poker IV Heads To Dublin
The European Masters of Poker (EMOP) heads to Dublin for its fourth and possibly final instalment of its popular tour.
The future of the EMOP tour is in doubt as most of the satellites into its events take place on the IGT Network, which is in the process of closing down. Whether or not the EMOP will continue on its own steam remains unknown right now so this could be your last chance to get involved in what has been a very well-run tour.
On Nov.16 the first event gets underway, a €100+€20 No Limit Hold’em Turbo that is sure to appeal to the online generation, but there is another tournament due to take place that day at Clontarf Castle, Dublin the €1,000+€100 No Limit Hold’em Main Event.
Dublin is always a popular place to play poker and the EMOP has traditionally done very well in the Emerald Isle with 303 players turning out for last year’s Main Event. The Dublin champion in 2011 was Denmark’s Soren Larsen who defeated Ireland’s Dara O’Kearney heads-up to scoop the €71,210 first place prize.
Rounding out EMOP IV is a two-day €315+€25 No Limit Hold’em tournament and €180+€20 No Limit Hold’em event, the latter the final event of the stop.
