This weekend, the Fox Poker Club hosted its monthly Main Event, a £435 buy-in tournament that carries a £25,000 guaranteed prize pool. This guarantee was certainly met as 81 players piled into the Fox Poker Club to play in this super event.
The nine-handed final table was the home to two real stars of the game, the United Kingdom's James Mitchell – who busted out in ninth place for £650 – and the eventual third place finisher Kyle Wilson. Wilson may be better known as “KrisQueen”, a player who used to feature regularly in the high-stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker.
As soon as Wilson had been eliminated both Roland Redhead and Mohammed Suhail struck a deal that saw both of them take home £8,905 for their efforts, not a bad wage for a weekend's work!
The next instalment of the Fox Poker Club Main Event takes place on the weekend of Nov.3.
