The final table of the World Poker Tour South Africa main event has been set and one of our very own has managed to navigate his way through to it! Jerome Bradpiece, a close friend to the Black Belt Poker crew, will start the day third in chips.
Bradpiece started the penultimate days play as one of the shorter stacks, but as we mentioned in yesterday’s article he knows his way around the poker table and it was no surprise to discover he had made it through to the six-handed finale. Our hero will fear nobody at the final table — it is just not who he is – but he will certainly be weary of the overnight chip leader, World Series of Poker bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche.
Nitsche is a fantastic poker player and one who is very well known on the live poker circuit, despite his tender year. The popular German plays a loose-aggressive style that has bamboozled opponents since he first appeared on the live arena back in 2009 and since then it has helped him amass winnings in excess of $2,000,000. Nitsche will start the final table as an overwhelming chip leader and as the clear favourite to add a WPT title to his WSOP bracelet.
You can follow the live updates from the WPT South Africa final table over on the WPT Live Updates pages, but be sure to check into UK & Ireland PokerNews tomorrow for a full and detailed recap of the final table action.
We would like to wish Bradpiece the very best of luck in his quest to become a WPT champion.
