Final Table Set At International Poker Open

IPO Final Table

The Boylepoker.com International Poker Open attracted a bumper crowd of 1,148 players through the doors of the Regency Hotel, Dublin, but of this huge turnout only eight players remain.

When Wouter Schuubiers was eliminated in ninth place – a finish worth €4,150 – the official final table had been reached. The tournament was then paused and will remain in that state until Nov. 10 when the eight finalists will return to the Regency Hotel to play out the final stages of the event.

Each of those who have managed to navigate their way through the crowds has guaranteed themselves a pay day of at least €6,375 but the eventual champion will receive a very welcome €42,530 for his or her efforts – not a bad return on the €230 buy-in we are sure you will agree.

Leading the way when the final table finally resumes will be Northern Ireland’s Tom Brady and his 3,210,000 chips. Brady will be pushed all the way by the chasing pack who read Thomas Nathan (2,930,000); Emmett Davis (2,512,000); Colum Horan (2,330,000); Henry Port (2,000,000); Lori Lazzaro (1,441,000); Thomas Dupuy (1,020,000) and Darren Millar (830,000).

Congratulations to everyone who has made it to the final eight, and good luck from everyone at UK & Ireland PokerNews.
