Today Is The Final Starting Day In The DTD Grand Prix

DTD Grand Prix

If you want to take part in one of the largest live poker tournaments in the UK this year then make sure you head down to the Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham armed with at least £100 so you can buy into Day 1g of the DTD €200,000 Guaranteed Grand Prix.

In the six starting days prior to today's Day 1g there have been a total of 1,058 entries which means an overlay is all but guaranteed. DTD supremo Rob Yong has been posting regular updates on his blog and although the outlook is a little brighter than a couple of days ago, Yong is still going to be – by his own estimations – looking at a shortfall of around €25,000. This alone should have you reaching for your car keys and heading South (or North) for some added value.

Day 1g kicks off at 17:00 this afternoon and has late registration until 20:50. Players are also allowed to re-enter once if they bust out, a new stack of 15,000 chips will be theirs for a further £100.

Should you head to Dusk Till Dawn today and make it through to Saturday's Day 2 you need to be aware the tournament restarts at a slightly earlier time of 15:00. The final day's play is on Sunday, again at 15:00.

Along with the Grand Prix there are also a number of other tournaments taking place at the Dusk Till Dawn over the weekend, as you can see in the table below.
