Ross “RLOG” Loggie Tops The UK & Ireland Poker Rankings

Ross "RLOG" Loggie

Ladies and gentlemen we have a new leader in the UK & Ireland poker rankings and it is none other than Scotland's Ross “RLOG” Loggie.

Just a few weeks ago Loggie spoke to UK & Ireland PokerNews and said that he and fellow Scot David Vamplew used to use the PocketFives rankings as a way to poke fun at each other and that Loggie would love to become number one in the world. Whilst he is not quite there in the terms of world status – he's ranked 24th right now, his highest ever world ranking – he has claimed the number one spot for UK & Ireland players.

Loggie hit a number of four figure scores last week, helped by his five final tables and two outright wins. The victories came in the $109 buy-in $15,000 guaranteed tournament on PartyPoker for $4,922.00 and the second came on PokerStars in the $44 buy-in $15,000 guaranteed. This win netted him $4,309.28.

These large scores pushed the Edinburgh-based pro over the magical $1 million barrier; his winnings now standing at $1,038,380.26.

Hot on the heel of Loggie is his fellow Scot Kevin “scarface2911” Howe who is less than 20 points behind and has his best chance yet of taking that coveted number one spot. But Howe and Loggie are going to be pushed all the way by every single player in the top 30 as they have all returned from the WSOP with bankroll's much smaller than whence they left the shores of Blighty and will be determined to rebuild their bankrolls and confidence after a difficult summer out in Sin City.
