Poker Happens at King's: German Poker Tour and DPT Find Home at King's Casino Rozadov
The King's Casino Rozadov in Germany is adding two new tournament series to its regiment starting in June.
The German Poker Tour (GPT) will kick off as a deepstack series with multiple buy-ins, and €100,000 guaranteed for each main event. Buy-ins will start around €500. The GPT will host eight to 10 events every year. The first series in June will have a kick off event with a buy in of €299 and will run from June 6 through 10 at the King's Casino Rozvadov. Five other side events will also be played during this series.
The second series that is kicking off is the Deutsche Poker Tour (DPT). German players with smaller bankrolls will be able to compete in this “turbo deepstack series," that begins on June 21. Buy-ins will start at €150 and will move up to €300 with guarantees starting at €40,000 and going up to €100,000. The DPT will also have eight to 10 event-weeks through the year.
Below you'll find the dates for the German Poker Tour. Deutsche Poker Tour dates will be published later this year.
Both tournaments will be added to the German Championship of Poker, which also takes place at King's Casino Rozadov in July.
