Jen-Yue Chiang Wins Fox Poker Club Main Event

Jen-Yue Chiang

Jen-Yue Chiang is the latest name to be written into the Fox Poker Club's history books after he took down the May edition of the Fox Poker Club Main Event.

A total of 146 players descended on the London-based for the £300 buy-in tournament creating a prize pool of £43,800 completely smashing the £25,000 guarantee; in fact almost doubling it. This money was shared out amongst the top 15 players with a min-cash being worth £770 and the eventual winner, Chiang, walking away with a cool £10,160.

Thirty-seven year old Chiang is originally from China but now resides in London and he was certainly a worthy winner. On his way to victory Chiang was responsible for the elimination of of Frederic Gautrin, Adolf Ventel and the dangerous Belgian Kenny Hallaert before being on the right side of a set-over-set scenario against third place finisher Krzysztof Jaromin. he of course also eliminated George Achillea, the runner-up, to get his hands on the trophy, over £10,000 and the title of Fox Poker Club Main Event champion.
