Just days after the massive DTD 500 Deepstack took place at the Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham the venue is hosting yet another tournament that should be absolutely massive! The Poker770 run Mega Poker Series Main Event kicks off today with an estimated prize pool of €200,000.

With Poker770 being the online poker site behind the MegaPokerSeries there is a "77" theme going on in the Nottingham Main Event. The buy-in is €700+€70 (£590+£60) and for their money players will receive 77,000 chips and play to a blind structure that starts at 50/100 and increases every 77-minutes! The top 15% of the field is paid out, which is slightly more than your usual live tournament but it means you are more likely to finish in the money places.

Along with the Main Event there are a whole host of side events taking place inclusing a £1,500 High Roller that is expected to be well attended. The full MegaPokerSeries Nottingham schedule can be found below:

The last MegaPokerSeries Main Event took place in January in Vienna and saw 390 players pay the €770 entry fee, creating a prize pool of €273,000. The four-day event was eventually won by Hungary's Csaba Bago who defeated Justas Semaska of Lithuania heads-up to walk away with the €58,770 first place prize.
