The February edition of the Dusk Till Dawn 500 Deepstack took place over the weekend with 292 players braving some of the worst weather England has seen in recent years to compete in one of the best low-to-mid stakes tournaments on the British circuit.
Play was brought to a premature end when the final four players decided to strike a deal that saw eventual winner, Nicholas Crisp walk away with just shy of £40,000 for his efforts. Also part of the deal were Tonino Montesanti, Paul Romain and Ceri Rees.
This is by far the biggest win of Crisp's career, his previous largest cash being for £2,370 for his fifth place finish in a £300 buy-in event at the GUKPT in Manchester a week or so ago.
