Another couple of Carbon League events have come to a close this past week and this time it was basker2b3 who took down the top prize in the Friday event, and Ganadian who took down the points in another Tuesday event. With each Friday event awarding double the league points, it was basker2b3 who was the winner of the most points this week.
The Carbon Poker League leaderboard is already shaping up to be an exciting one, but it is definitely not too late for players to start playing in the league, with plenty of events still on the calendar before the $10,200 Big Final takes place on Jan. 8 at 1800 GMT (1100 PDT).
$15,000 Carbon Poker League Leaderboard
League points are up for grabs in two different weekly tournaments, which include a $3.00+$0.50 ($50 added) buy-in tournament every Tuesday and a $5.00+$1.00 ($100 added) buy-in tournament every Friday. Being that is Friday today, be sure to head over to Carbon Poker and take your chance at accumulating league points.
The way league points are awarded for the weekly Tuesday event is outlined below, while the Friday events award double league points!
League Point Payout Structure
If you are concerned that it may be too late to start taking part in the Carbon League because players like basker2b3 already have 30 points, don't be because there are also three VIP freerolls which will take place during the league and they each award 120 league points to the winner along with the generous free added $1,000 prize pool. These freerolls cost 50 Carbon VIP points to enter and are held on Thursday, Nov. 3; Thursday, Dec. 1; and Thursday, Dec. 29.
Make sure you play every week to give yourself the best chance at gathering enough league points to finish in the top 30 of the leaderboard and you will be awarded a seat in the Big Final on January 8 at 1800 GMT (1100 PDT).
Big Final Payout Structure
The next league event is scheduled for tonight (Friday, Oct. 21) at 1800GMT[/B], with the $5.00+$1.00 buy-in tournament featuring a $100 added prize pool and of course awarding double league points!
