Fox Poker Club Main Event Starts Saturday
The Fox Poker Club is situated in the heart of the West End, on Shaftesbury Avenue, and has just recently celebrated its one-year anniversary. Despite only being open for 12 months, the Fox Poker Club already has 19,000 members on its books and has developed a reputation for being a fantastic destination for poker tournaments and 24-hour cash games in the capital.
One of the Fox Poker Club's most popular tournaments is the FPC Main Event, a £300 + £25 buy-in, two-day event that kicks on at 15:00 on Saturday 1 October. For their money players receive 20,000 chips although they can pick up an additional 2,000 for a £5 dealer bonus. Blinds in the FPC Main Event increase every 45-minutes.
August's FPC Main Event attracted 148 of London and the UK's best poker players, some qualifying for as little as $3.81 on the 3D online poker site, PKR. In August's Main Event there were 15 spots paid out ranging between £440 for a min-cash and increasing all the way up to a wallet-bursting £12,052 for the eventual winner, a prize claimed by Hakin Bouzroura.
Last month saw 128 players participate and it was eventually won by Mohammed “Truth” Haque (pictured centre) who walked away with £12,650 for his efforts. A special mention needs to go to the aforementioned Bouzroura who made it to the final table of September's final, eventually finishing fourth for £3,400.
Satellites to the FPC Main Event are running on PKR and there are also some live satellites being run in the Fox Poker Club itself. The live satellite schedule is as follows, each guaranteeing at least one seat to the £300+£25 FPC Main Event:

|Friday 30 Sept||23:00||£20+£5 One Rebuy|
