Mystery bidders are said to be interested in acquiring Full Tilt Poker’s UK & Irish companies and European licenses only, according to a report in eGaming Review. American activities would not be included in the deal.
Yesterday was originally said to be the deadline for a potential European investment deal, however negotiations are now said to still be on-going.
According to the eGaming Review source “The purchase includes the family of companies in the UK and Ireland [including marketing and technology company Pocket Kings in Dublin] as well as the Alderney licences.”
It was also revealed that the lawyers in this deal and representing Full Tilt Poker at the hearing are Jeffrey Green Russell.
All of this comes just four days before a hearing with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) in London which will decide the fate of Full Tilt.
PokerNews will be there at the AGCC hearing on July 26 and this writer will be updating and tweeting live the news as it happens. Make sure you follow @PokerNews and @barry_carter for all the updates as they happen.
