One of the biggest European tournaments of the year gets underway tomorrow in Dublin. The 30th Irish Open will take place once again at the Burlington Hotel with a €3,200+€300 buy-in. Last year James Mitchell outlasted 707 other players to take down the €600,000 first prize.
This time the tournament is set to feature an interactive live stream of the tournament, with Jesse May calling the action (Hmmmm, wonder where they got that idea from?). The tournament organisers, PaddyPower, also took the opportunity to take a shot at the current shutdown of online sites in the US with this photo shoot featuring a Barack Obama cut-out.
The tournament will start tomorrow with a €200+€20 satellite to the main event:
