Chris Moorman and James Keys in the Final 18 of the Aussie Millions Main Event
In the last 12 months the Brits have dominated the WSOP and the EPT, now it shows no signs of stopping at the Aussie Millions either. Two of the best young players in the UK are amongst the final 18 of the Aussie Millions Main event, and will playing down to a final table of seven tomorrow at the Crown Casino.
Chris Moorman is arguably the best online MTT specialist in the world, let alone the UK, and counts amongst his achievements a record 11th PocketFives Triple Crown last week. But he is yet to make his mark on the live tournament circuit. That could be all about to change because he is the big chip leader in the final 18 of the main event.
James Keys is also in the top half of the final 18, in 8th place with 880,000. Keys first came to our attention when he finalled the first ever WSOPE main event and most notably signed a sponsorship deal with Red Kings Poker during the Aussie Millions.
Of course 16 other men stand in their way including Mark Vos, Randy Lew, Sorel Mizzi and the very intimidating presence of Patrik Antonius. It could be a very stacked final table as all these men will be eyeing up the $2 million first prize and one of the most prestigious titles in poker.
