The final major event of the year for Dusk Till Dawn avoided an overlay and went off with a bang, as 255 players in total attended the £1000+£90 Monte Carlo £200,000 Guaranteed event. The tournament boasted a super deep structure and featured some of the best players from up and down the UK.
You only had to look at the final table to see how classy the field was, with EPT champ William Fry and one of the most prolific live and online players of 2010, Jack Ellwood in the final 9. Popular Blondepoker member Raymond Norton finished third for a very welcome £27,531 leaving Ellwood to face Fraser Bellamy heads up.
Although he wins online MTTs for fun, Ellwood had to settle for second place this time round, leaving Fraser Bellamy to pick up the £78,847 first prize. Bellamy might just be one of the most successful players in DTD tournaments, having cashed four times now at the club in ranking events but winning all four of them out right (Previous wins were one £150 side event and twice winning the coveted £300 monthly deepstack).
