Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham is on a real high at the moment, just one week after celebrating breaking the UK tournament attendance record they find themselves hosting their biggest ever £300 Monthly DeepStack event. Once again joined by the TV cameras, a whopping 459 players embarked on the monthly event creating a £137,700 prize pool and smashing its own £100,000 guarantee.
In fact the event was so popular it sold out the night before. All of which is a great omen for their end of year £1000 Monte Carlo DeepStack event.
After two marathon days an 8 way chop was done which saw each player take a minimum of £9000 and they played for a further £17,000 split up three ways for a top three finish. The eventual winner was Paul Bowser who defeated Danny Tran heads up, pocketing £20,000 after the deal. Not quite the £39,488 originally slated for 1st place but a fantastic score for a £300 buy-in nonetheless.
