Paul Foltyn Wins GUKPT Brighton

Paul Foltyn

For the third leg in a row a Grosvenor UK Poker Tour main event has been won by a stalwart of the popular poker tour. GUKPT Brighton was always going to be a big event as it is the home of such big names as Chris Moorman and James Dempsey, so it was only fitting that one of their high stakes MTT buddies would take top honours.

Paul ‘Badpab’ Foltyn is already a legend of the online felt and best known on the live circuit for taking down the GUKPT Grand Final in 2008, now he joins the exclusive group of double GUKPT Main Event Champions. He beat Jose Azorin heads up for the £46,400 first prize, a seat in the Champion of Champions event and of course the prestigious 2nd GUKPT title.
