The £5,000 PLO event at the WSOPE is always something of a show stealer in terms of the sheer talent that make the final table and this years was no different. Joe Serock, Jeff Madsen, Karl Mahrenholz, Jeff Kimber, Willie Tann and Chris Bjorin all making the final nine (the latter two both making their second WSOPE final in a row).
But they would all have to play second fiddle to the man that is really making a name for himself as one of the best in the world – Jeff Lisandro. Its amazing to think that three years ago he was one of the players in the ‘best without a bracelet club’ and now he has an amazing five to his name. This would be his first non stud bracelet and also his first WSOPE strap.
He defeated Joe Serock heads up for the bracelet and the £159,514 first prize, you can see how he did it via our £5,000 PLO Updates.
