Voting is Open for the British Poker Awards

British Poker Awards

The voting channels are open for the first ever British Poker Awards, which will be held at the Fox Poker Club on September 13 at 7.00pm. The event takes place fittingly the day before the WSOPE starts and will be celebrating the best of British poker, including many of our 2010 ‘Year of the Brit’ WSOP heroes.

Not only are there categories for best tournament, cash and online players but there are also awards for best contribution to British poker, best card room, best poker forum and best poker league. Pokernews are the proud sponsors of the Best UK Poker Forum award, recognising the role poker forums play in supporting and developing British poker talent.

And the great news is that you can have your say, as 8 of the 11 awards are readers choice. What’s more, one lucky voter will win a free ticket to the ceremony. There is also a £50 NLH tourney at the end of the night to finish off proceedings. You can also purchase tickets to the award show directly via the website.

To have your say and win your tickets, go to and cast your vote.
