Sam Trickett and Martins Adeniya in Event #52: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed

UK pros Sam Trickett and Martins Adeniya are in the money and heading towards the final table of Event #52: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed. There are 18 players remaining in probably the sickest field ever assembled at the WSOP including Daniel Negreanu, Frank Kassela, Isaac Haxton, Carlos Mortenson and Justin Bonomo; Trickett has shined amongst them all, maintaining the 3rd place position he finished day 1 with.

Martins Adeniya has some catching up to do in the middle of the pack with 549,000 but is really making a name for himself at this WSOP, having already come 9th in the $2500 6 handed event last month. Both men are already guaranteed $58,699 and its $1,315,518 for the winner. James Akenhead Off to Good Start in Event #55: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship

November Niner James Akenhead had a cracking start to day one of the coveted Event #55: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship yesterday, finishing 3rd in chips with 181,100. 346 players began the day and 171 remain in this 3 day event that all the pros want to win. Neil Channing, Barny Boatman, the Devilfish, John Kabbaj, Joe Beevers and Ben Roberts are also amongst the Brits to make it to day 2.
