Paul Kerr Makes Event #54: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Final

There still could be time for one more Brit bracelet before the main event is in full flow. Paul Kerr of Bothwell in Scotland will be keeping UK hopes alive tonight as he has made the final table of Event #54: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em. A staggering 3844 players ponied up $1,000 for this event and we are down to the final 9. Kerr has already guaranteed himself $45,286 and will be eyeing up the bounty of $570,960 that awaits the winner tonight, he is currently in 8th place.

Fraser Bellamy wins DTD Monthly Deepstack

Despite the small matter of the World Series of Poker Main Event about to commence, Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham was heaving as usual for the £300 monthly deepstack main event. 243 runners in total creating a £72,900 prize pool. The eventual winner was Fraser Bellamy, who won this event last August. Following a five way chop the remaining players took between £9,000 and £13,000 and overall leader Bellamy claimed the first place position.
