UK Pokernews Roundup: Main Event Day 6, UKIPT Brighton Day 1A, and more

Redmond Lee

78 Remain in the Main Event

The dream is over for popular UK pro JP Kelly as he bust out of the main event last night in 111th place for $57,102. 78 players are still in and guaranteed at least $94,942, so how are we doing on a Brit making the final table? Not great, we only have one official Brit left standing that we are sure about and that is Redmond Lee who has been on top of the Brit counts for several days now, he has 2.2 million.

We have also heard rumours that Matt Harris, one of the shorter stacks with 965,000, is also a Brit from Birmingham who won his seat in a University tournament, but he is currently listed as being from the US so we will try and confirm either way today. Over in Ireland all eyes are on James Fennell who is still flying very high with 3.2 million.
