Camel Comes Close in Macau
Veteran UK pro Keith ‘The Camel’ Hawkins made the final table of the Pokerstars APPT Macau over the weekend. He went in one of the favourites to win but unfortunately he was the first one out of the door when he was eliminated in 9th place, taking with him 254,608 HKD (£22,611). Our bloggers were there and you can read the full report here.

VIP Element Added to WSOP for Life at PartyPoker
If the amazing World Series of Poker for Life Package wasn’t enough from PartyPoker, a new element has been added for VIP players. On top of the fantastic leaderboards and tournaments for the package, Palladium Lounge Members will also be competing in exclusive points races that run alongside the promotion:

A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “We are holding four weekly VIP points races. Each week players will be able to win their share of our big-money prize pools as well as gain valuable points towards the WSOP® for Life leader board. Finally, every player in the top 500 of the WSOP® for Life Leader Board will receive entry into an exclusive freeroll at 14:00 ET on 23rd June in which a second WSOP® for Life package will be up for grabs.”

Dont forget that we have two of the most exclusive promos going with PartyPoker. The fantastic $16,000 World Series of Poker Freeroll and of course, the free $25 NO DEPOSIT NEEDED when you join PartyPoker via UK Pokernews.

XXL Tournaments at Dusk Till Dawn
More fantastic value for customers of Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham with the cheapest deep stack tournament in the UK (and possibly the world). The XXL is a new tournament starting on Saturday 12th June which is just £25 to enter – but starts with 10,000 chips and a 30 minute clock! Where else can low stakes players find an event like that which will be run as well as an EPT? £3,000 is guaranteed and there is a cap of 180 players for the first one, which is just about as guaranteed to sell out as it gets in poker.

We like to get our news on the page before it hits the UK Pokernews Homepage so you can get the latest tournament reports, interviews and gossip before anyone else. You will also be the first people anywhere to hear about our exclusive freerolls and promotions, as well as being able to post plenty of banter on our walls. We are planning a freeroll once we hit 1000 members for the first 1000 that sign up, so why not join it today?
